本日ペシャワール会豊橋主催の中村哲先生講演会に参加してきました。
中村哲先生は医師としてアフガニスタンで長い間現地での医療活動をされてきた方です。
ご存知の方も多いことでしょう。
2000年以降は現地での食糧確保のための灌漑工事に注力されています。
昨年のﾃﾛ特措法延長問題の際に、民主党の小沢代表が現地の状況などをヒアリングするとともに、中村先生の意見を参考にしました。
テロとの戦いとの名目で戦争を拡大再生産している現状に警鐘を鳴らすと共に、日本人が本当に行うべき国際支援は現地での生活を再興可能にすることではないかとの指摘は、この臨時国会で再度課題となるであろうテロ特措法延長問題に対して、大変示唆に富むものでした。
